New Delhi: After the historic ICC Women’s World Cup victory, Women's World Cup Team India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, is making headlines due to another reasons. If reports are to be believed, the vice-captain of the Indian women’s cricket team is preparing to marry.
If reports are to be believed, Smriti Mandhana is planning to marry music composer and filmmaker Palash Muchhal. Reports also suggest that she will tie the knot on November 20, 2025, in her hometown, Sangli, Maharashtra.
As per reports, the pre-wedding festivities will commence soon in Sangli, where the ace cricketer spend her childhood, as per the report by Anandabazar Patrika. Although Smriti was born in Mumbai.

Notably, Palash Muchhal opened up about his bond with Smriti Mandhana recently at an event. Speaking at the occasion, he told reporters, “She will soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore... that’s all I want to say.”

It worthy to be mentioned here that the Women's World Cup final was held on November 2 at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. In the finals, India's women's team defeated South Africa by 52 runs.
